Healthcare Coalition for Firearm Injury Prevention
Membership

Membership

Membership in the Healthcare Coalition for Firearm Injury Prevention is open to professional organizations/societies representing the medical and public health profession. Groups that are solely focused on an advocacy agenda will not be included. Coalition members must agree to support the mission and guiding principles and to appoint representatives that will do the same. Coalition partners may choose from two options for participation: active or supportive engagement.

Active Engagement

Active engagement with the coalition includes appointment of a representative to one or more of the coalition workgroups, commitment to disseminate resources developed by the coalition to their members, the opportunity to sign on to advocacy initiatives, and commitment to participate in future summit meetings.

Supportive Engagement

Supportive engagement with the coalition includes a commitment to disseminate resources developed by the coalition to their members and the opportunity to sign on to advocacy initiatives.
